IEC 60603-7-5:2010 pdf – Connectors for electronic equipment – Part 7-5: Detail specification for 8-way,shielded, free and fixed connectors, for data transmission with frequencies up to 250 MHz.
This part or IEC 60603 covers 8-way. shielded, free and fixed connectors and references dimensional, mechanical, electrical and environmental characteristics and tests in IEC 60603-7 and IEC 60603-7-1. and specifies electrical transmission requirements for frequencies up to 250 MHz. These connectors are typically used as category 6 connectors in class E cabling systems specified in ISO/IEC 11801
These connectors are intermateabTe and interoperable with other IEC 60603-7 series
connectors as defined in Clause 2 of IEC 60603-7.
These connectors are backward compatible with other lEG 60603.7 series connectors.
NOTE Transmiasion p.rformsnc. cat.gori. in this IEC standard, th term category wq.n us.d in relerenc. to tr5n5mission performance, refers to those categories defined by 1SO(IEC 11801
